TERUMAH

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing our attention on the opening narrative of the SIDRA. The scenario begins with a directive given to MOSHE REBEYNU by ECHAD, Blessed be His Name, to receive TERUMAH (an elevated portion) from BENEI YISRAEL for the construction of a place where a visible manifestation of G-d would be revealed. The detailed explanation of the construct is to be understood in concert with the general. In other words, to discern the particulars, the IKARIM (principles) must be known.

A principle is a foundational EMET (truth) in which all other truths may be known. When speaking of the general principle, we are describing HAMACHSHAVAH HAELYONAH i.e., the Supreme Mind. HAMACHSHAVAH HAELYONAH is disclosed to be the INVISIBLE becoming VISIBLE. The INVISIBLE becoming VISIBLE is in reference to ECHAD. ECHAD is the EIN SOF, that is, that which is beyond description, experienced as SENSITIVITY. It is what is being referenced to by the term PURE SOULS CONSCIOUSNESS, yea, it is this conscious state that contains all of creation and that which is beyond. It is the Beyondness of ECHAD that is destined to become VISIBLE. It is the Beyondness of ECHAD that can not be discerned by the 5 senses but rather can be sensed as a SENSATION. 

The IKARIM (principles) that are revealed in the HISTALSHELUT (causal development) of CREATION is the foundation that must be set in the revelation of the details. Such as YESH ME AYIN (existence from nothingness), TSIM TSUM (constriction), TZUR TZAK (the force used to produce the construction), NEKUDIM (sparks flying to produce the form), and the like, that aid in the discernment. This is because the GOAL of CREATION is what governs the events that occur in SPACE and TIME. The MACROISM, that is, ADAM KADMON, is destined to unfold as B’TZELEM ELOHIM (In the image of G-d), all the way to the MICROISM. Thus the principle is seen in MISHKAHN MOSHE (the Tabernacle of MOSHE) where a visible manifestation occurs. No doubt the instruction thereof reveals how order being brought to chaos will give rise to the manifestation of the GOAL, that is, the visible manifestation of HAVAYOT (force of creation).

MISHPATIM

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing upon the title of the PARASHAT. The title of the portion is MISHPATIM. The IVRI transliteration MISHPATIM is interpreted to mean ordinances. These ordinances are descriptive of civil law.

The Torah is said to be 20% literal and 80% interpretation. When the interpretation of Torah is taken from the ROOT LANGUAGE, the reference is not to this world, but rather to that of OLAM HABA i.e. the World to Come. At the ROOT LANGUAGE, Torah is comprised of DIFFERENT NAMES OF THE CREATOR. The DIFFERENT NAMES of the CREATOR represent the different qualities (MIDDOT) of His Infinite Nature. In the language of BRANCHES, i.e. the literal interpretation, the names of the CREATOR are presented in different combinations and arrangements giving us the stories as well as the MITZVOT (commandments), MISHPATIM (ordinances) and CHUKIM (decrees) contained within. Thus tracing the language of the BRANCHES back to the ROOT we discover the qualities of the CREATOR. This discloses that the MISHPATIM are expressions of the MIDDOT of the CREATOR.

The CHAI (life) that animates ADAM RISHON (the human conscious experience) is the CREATOR. It is written, “I call heaven and earth today to bear witness against you: I have placed life and death before you, blessing and curse, and you shall choose life, so that you will live, you and your offspring, to love HaShem your God, to listen to His voice and cleave to Him, for He is your LIFE…” Deuteronomy 30:19,20a This EMET (truth) discloses that the MIDDOT of the Creator is contained within the SOUL that animates us. From this EMET we are able to discern that the MISHPATIM can be used as a SULAM (ladder) to ascend and discover the MIDDOT of our TRUE SELVES. Employing the language of the BRANCHES in this way is how to effect TIKKUNIM (the correction) in the attainment of the TRUTH of BEING and the actualization thereof. The actualization is experienced as EQUIVALENCE of FORM, that is, the manifestation of the DEATHLESS ONE in the KLI (physical form).

These IKARIM (principles) that give rise to BIRURIM (purification) are based upon the administration of ברית חדשה from the KOHANIM and LEVITES that are appointed by ECHAD in the ingathering of the LOST TRIBES (Israel). In this ISRAEL will be seen not as a biological identification, but rather as a state of enlightenment revealing the SOUL to be an individual aspect of ECHAD, Blessed be His Name.

YITRO

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH focusing upon the opening narrative of the SIDRAH. The narrative is a disclosure of YITRO the COHAN (priest) of MIDIAN arrival to the camp of YISRAEL after being liberated by ECHAD from MITZRAYIM (Egypt) through the leadership of the NAVI (prophet) MOSHE. Upon his arrival, YITRO, who was the father-in-law of MOSHE, was honored as his mentor. The honor is seen in that MOSHE prostrated himself to YITRO, which is a recognition of the SUPERNAL nature of the SOUL observed by Master Teachers and their proteges.

In the meeting between the two, MOSHE REBEYNU shared with YITRO the scenario revealing how ECHAD, Blessed be His Name, had effected the liberation of YISRAEL from MITZRAYIM along with the challenges they had experienced along the way. No doubt, this is a disclosure revealing that once liberation occurs, that is, the state of enlightenment, challenges will continue to be experienced. This is based upon the EMET (truth) that enlightenment is entrance into the path of self-improvement. The realization of the TRUTH of BEING, that is, that the SOUL is SUPERNAL, must be established. The establishment of the STATE of ENLIGHTENMENT is effected as OHR MAKIF (the surrounding light) provides the necessary pressures that reveal hidden desires of reception that need to undergo TIKKUNIM (corrections). Thus we are able through volition to choose how we shall undergo the challenge. The choices that we are given enables us to have part in our development. The development is to attain EQUIVALENCE OF FORM. In other words, the form that we are clothed in is destined to become a visible manifestation of ECHAD, which is the elimination of DEATH. This reveals that the state of enlightenment once realized must go on to be actualized. The liberation of the Jewish People from MITZRAYIM along with the challenges that follow is a scenario written in the language of BRANCHES. Tracing the BRANCHES back to the ROOT reveals instructions that give rise to the unfoldment of HAMACHSHAVAH HAELYONAH (the Supreme mind).

During YITRO’S visitation, he observes how MOSHE REBEYNU is administering the wisdom to aid BENEI YISRAEL in their entrance into the next level of existence. No doubt, YITRO being a COHAN in MIDIAN had received instructions that had been passed down from AVRAHAM, yea, MIDIAN was the name of one of AVRAHAM’S sons. by KETURAH. These instructions that were given are the basic foundation for the establishment of SPIRITUAL PROTOCOL. The establishment of SPIRITUAL PROTOCOL is what gives rise to a community of people who have experienced the realization of the TRUTH of BEING into the unfoldment of the method of TIKKUNIM, therefore engendering ACTUALIZATION.

In this time referred to as the MESSIANIC AGE by the Jewish Timeline, these communities will begin to appear more and more. The appearance gives rise to the earth being filled with the KNOWLEDGE of G-d unfolding the next state of evolution that is described as EQUIVALENCE of FORM.

BESHALACH

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH with the narrative that is focused upon in the SIDRAH. The branch language discloses that the Jewish people along with a mixed multitude have left MITZRAYIM (Egypt) en route to ERETZ YISRAEL under the leadership of the NAVI Moshe. It is further revealed that soon after their HISTALKUT (departure), ECHAD strengthened the heart of PHARAOH to pursue them. The purpose of ECHAD, BLESSED BE HIS NAME, in governing the thought life of PHARAOH in this way is He would be GLORIFIED.

The scenario is a revelation of the mechanics that ECHAD has predetermined to unfold the GOAL of CREATION. The GOAL of CREATION is that ECHAD Who is INVISIBLE will become VISIBLE. No doubt this process employed to become VISIBLE is one of contrast.

Jewish spirituality discloses that ECHAD gives the cure before the DIS-EASE. This EMET (truth) is based upon the TRUTH of BEING. The TRUTH of BEING is that all who undergo the human conscious experience are individual aspects of ECHAD. The soul, that is, our true identification is a SUPERNAL SPARK containing all the MIDDOT (qualities) of ECHAD. From it the physical form (GUF) was created. Thus within the GUF is the potential to manifest the CREATOR. Therefore it may be said that the GUF conceals the CREATOR with all the potential thereof.

To govern the process of becoming a VISIBLE MANIFESTATION, ECHAD manages the thought life both of MOSHE REBEYNU and PHARAOH. The SUPERNAL POTENTIAL that is concealed within MOSHE REBEYNU can only be made manifest by the opposition of PHARAOH. Therefore MOSHE is the cure concealed, that can only be revealed by the DIS-EASE brought about by PHARAOH. Yea, PHARAOH’S opposition gave rise to the CONCEALMENT of the CREATOR being revealed. In the end of the process both MOSHE and PHARAOH experience a visible manifestation of ECHAD, BLESSED BE HIS NAME. Likewise, that which seemingly is opposing is predetermined to reveal. The revelation is the manifestation of the TRUTH of BEING, that is, that we are ONE with G-d. This EMET when established in the heart will liberate one from fear, that is, negative expectation. Whatever opposes is under the HA HAGAH (government) of ECHAD sent for the purpose of revealing the SPLENDOR of the SOUL, yea, the SOUL is the SOLUTION to all problems that are sent to reveal.
