MISHPATIM

Shalom Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing our attention on HITPASHTUT. HITPASHTUT is the IVRI (Hebrew) transliteration describing the development of G-dliness. The development of G-dliness unfolds in three stages. Those stages are termed בּ ,א and G-MAR TIKKUN. These stages occur in the reincarnation of ADAM RISHON.

ADAM RISHON is One Soul that is comprised of many souls. The many souls fall under the grades of either being YISRAEL or the Nations of OLAM (the world). The souls under the grade termed YISRAEL are those souls who have the revelation as being ONE with G-d. The souls termed the Nations of OLAM are absent of the revelation. In BERESHIT 5:1, ADAM RISHON is described in the following way, “This is the account of the descendants of ADAM (RISHON) on the day of the creating by God of Man in the likeness of God he made Him.” The TOLDOT (descendants) of ADAM RISHON are the reincarnations of the ONE SOUL that we undergo in becoming the IMAGE and LIKENESS of G-d. In other words, what we read in TORAH is a code revealing how man (the human conscious experience) becomes G-d, that is, a visible manifestation of the Supernal.

PARASHAT MISHPATIM is a description of ordinances, that is, civil law in the branch language. In the root language, the MISHPATIM are judgments that occur in the cycles of reincarnations. The purpose of the judgments is to enlighten one in what TIKUN (corrections) that need to be made in the unfoldment of G-dhood. It is made known to us because we have been given part in our own development of HAMACHSHAVAH HAELYONAH, that is, the Supreme Thought. By employing TESHUVAH, that is, repentance, we are empowered to correct the TIKUNIM caused by the limited choices we have made over the cycle of life, thus manifesting the MIDDOT of ECHAD, Blessed be His Name, in the BEGED (clothing) of the NESHAMAH (Soul).

YISRAEL has been chosen to fulfill the GOAL of HITPASHTUT first. It is the fulfillment of this GOAL first that enables the rest of the Sons of ADAM (the Nations of OLAM) in their unfoldment of G-dhood. This is the implication of what was promised to AVRAHAM that in PARASHAT LECH LECHA, “and they will be blessed through you all the families of the earth.” BERESHIT 12:3b. This empowering of the Nations of OLAM in ADAM RISHON gives rise to the One Soul comprised of many in the manifestation of the Supernal. The KUMI ORI, arising and shinning of YISRAEL has come disclosing the EMET that all things work for the manifestation of ONE THING, that is ECHAD.

 

MISHPATIM

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing upon the title of the PARASHAT. The title of the portion is MISHPATIM. The IVRI transliteration MISHPATIM is interpreted to mean ordinances. These ordinances are descriptive of civil law.

The Torah is said to be 20% literal and 80% interpretation. When the interpretation of Torah is taken from the ROOT LANGUAGE, the reference is not to this world, but rather to that of OLAM HABA i.e. the World to Come. At the ROOT LANGUAGE, Torah is comprised of DIFFERENT NAMES OF THE CREATOR. The DIFFERENT NAMES of the CREATOR represent the different qualities (MIDDOT) of His Infinite Nature. In the language of BRANCHES, i.e. the literal interpretation, the names of the CREATOR are presented in different combinations and arrangements giving us the stories as well as the MITZVOT (commandments), MISHPATIM (ordinances) and CHUKIM (decrees) contained within. Thus tracing the language of the BRANCHES back to the ROOT we discover the qualities of the CREATOR. This discloses that the MISHPATIM are expressions of the MIDDOT of the CREATOR.

The CHAI (life) that animates ADAM RISHON (the human conscious experience) is the CREATOR. It is written, “I call heaven and earth today to bear witness against you: I have placed life and death before you, blessing and curse, and you shall choose life, so that you will live, you and your offspring, to love HaShem your God, to listen to His voice and cleave to Him, for He is your LIFE…” Deuteronomy 30:19,20a This EMET (truth) discloses that the MIDDOT of the Creator is contained within the SOUL that animates us. From this EMET we are able to discern that the MISHPATIM can be used as a SULAM (ladder) to ascend and discover the MIDDOT of our TRUE SELVES. Employing the language of the BRANCHES in this way is how to effect TIKKUNIM (the correction) in the attainment of the TRUTH of BEING and the actualization thereof. The actualization is experienced as EQUIVALENCE of FORM, that is, the manifestation of the DEATHLESS ONE in the KLI (physical form).

These IKARIM (principles) that give rise to BIRURIM (purification) are based upon the administration of ברית חדשה from the KOHANIM and LEVITES that are appointed by ECHAD in the ingathering of the LOST TRIBES (Israel). In this ISRAEL will be seen not as a biological identification, but rather as a state of enlightenment revealing the SOUL to be an individual aspect of ECHAD, Blessed be His Name.

EIKEV

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing our attention on the opening scenario of the PARASHAT EIKEV. The portion is a continuation of the NAVI MOSHE giving encouragement to AM YISRAEL (the nation of Israel) to trust in G-d to ensure the successful conquest of the Land and the entrance into the WHOLE of REALITY.

The WHOLE of REALITY is indicative of the ATTAINMENT of a conscious state whereas the fulness of joy is experienced as freedom from contrast and ascension into ONENESS. The ONENESS is the TRUTH of BEING.

The TRUTH of BEING is based upon the revelation given to the NAVI ISAIAH. It is written, “I am HaShem and there is no other, other than Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you did not know Me, in order that those from east and west would know that there is nothing besides Me; I am HaShem, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:5,6 In this prophetic utterance, it is disclosed that THERE IS NOTHING BUT G-d. In other words, CREATION is G-d being perceived in two STATES. Those states are REVEALED and CONCEALED. The TRUTH of BEING is that the human conscious experience is a CONCEALED STATE of G-d. Thus the GOAL of CREATION is that the CONCEALED STATE of the CREATOR be revealed in the physical body. The manifestation of the CONCEALED STATE of G-d in the physical body is the ELIMINATION of DEATH, i.e. IMMORTALITY.

The opening scenario of the portion EIKEV when viewed from the ROOT LANGUAGE of TORAH discloses that the MISHPATIM (ordinances) are manifestations of SUPERNAL INTENTIONS. In other words, they are inroads to some of the QUALITIES of the TRUTH of BEING. The CONCEALED STATE of the CREATOR that is contained within the CREATURE is connected to the MISHPATIM.

Understanding the principle that the CREATOR became the CREATURE in order that the CREATURE will become the CREATOR reveals the mechanics to be employed to reach the Goal of CREATION. As the mechanics are employed, the perception of the WHOLE of REALITY is ATTAINED engendering a new level of existence whereas we come to the end of CONTRAST (the experience of GOOD and BAD) and enter into the state of the fulness of joy. Yea, we were created to experience the eternal outpouring of the SUPERNAL.

MISHPATIM Part 3

Shalom, Shalom. We continue our focus upon the PARASHAT MISHPATIM by placing our ATTENTION on the following passage contained within the SIDRAH, it is written, “One who strikes a man, so that he dies, shall surely be put to death. But for one who had not lain in ambush and God had caused it to come to his hand, I shall provide you a place to which he shall flee.” (Exodus 21:12,13)  In this passage of TORAH, we are given a scenario that deals with causing the DEATH of another in particular. The scenario deals with premeditated or intentional murder and causing the death of another unintentionally. The LAWS revealed in the SCENARIO are an expression of the principles contained in the Holy of Holies, the is, the UPPER LEVELS of CONSCIOUSNESS that govern CREATION.

According to CABALISTIC THINKERS, CREATION is the product of what is termed TZIM TZUM. TZIM TZUM is the force that caused the APPEARANCE of CREATION in what might be termed the UNLIMITED. CREATION is a combination of LIMITATION and that which is UNLIMITED. It is the result of an EMANATING LIGHT penetrating the UNLIMITED creating a SPACE containing the RESIDUE of that LIGHT. No doubt the purpose of this new creation that appears to be OPPOSITE of G-d was to give rise to the MANIFESTATION of the QUALITIES of G-d being the product of VOLITION. VOLITION would be the power to receive the OUTPOURING of G-d’s blessing giving rise to the revelation of His CONCEALED ATTRIBUTES latent within.
 The force that was employed in creating this new creation caused the manifestation of contrast. The manifestation of contrast required a spiritual law that would aid in the CONCEALED QUALITIES of G-d latent within to appear. That law is what is termed the law of RHYTHMIC SWING. Yea, the LAW would give rise to the experience of going from one extreme to the OTHER until BALANCE is achieved. When BALANCE is achieved, the CONCEALED qualities of the SUPERNAL are REVEALED.

The SCENARIO in the passage of this DEVAR TORAH is the product of the principle found in the UPPER LEVELS to achieve BALANCE, yea, to take a life is BALANCED by the giving of a life. It is JUSTICE executed by the JUDGMENT of the SUPERNAL.

It is JUDGMENT that will give rise to the Jewish people fulfilling our purpose in OLAM. The NAVI Daniel wrote, “But judgment will be set, and they will take away his dominion to be annihilated and to be destroyed completely. And the kingship, the dominion and the grandeur of the kingdoms under all the heavens will be given to the holy supreme nation, its kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve it.” (Daniel 7:26,27) Yea, we are destined to move n harmony with the BALANCING of CREATION through the execution of SUPERNAL JUDGMENT.

MISHPATIM Part 2

Shalom, Shalom. We continue our focus upon the PARASHAT MISHPATIM by placing our ATTENTION upon the following passage contained in the SIDRAH, it is written, “If a man will sell his daughter as a bondwoman, she shall not leave like the leave-taking of the slaves. If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master, who should have designated her for himself, he shall assist in her redemption; he shall not have the power to sell her to a strange man, for he had betrayed her. If he had designated her for his son, he shall deal with her according to the rights of the young women. If he shall take another for himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, or her marital relationship. If he does not perform these three for her, she shall leave free of charge; without payment.” (Exodus 21:7-11) In this passage contained in TORAH, we are given a scenario disclosing the CIVIL LAW concerning how a father is to handle the affairs that accompany a marriage ARRANGEMENT. A marriage ARRANGEMENT has to do with PARENTAL SELECTION of a marriage rather than the choice of the GROOM or the BRIDE or BOTH. The LAW reveals the SUPERNAL will in both MONOGAMOUS and POLYGAMOUS relationships. 

The SCENARIO reveals that both the father and the master are responsible for the welfare of the daughter involved in the ARRANGEMENT. From the SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE, we are able to discern the PURPOSE of SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY, yea, within the COLLECTIVE SOUL there are DIFFERENT GRADES. These DIFFERENT GRADES are LEVELS of AUTHORITY belonging THEREUNTO. In the SCENARIO, the father and the master represent HIGHER AUTHORITIES while the daughter represents the LESSOR AUTHORITY. The revelation is that the HIGHER AUTHORITIES are responsible of the welfare of the LESSOR authorities. Without a doubt, this reveals that one of the purposes of AUTHORITY is to be responsible for the WELFARE of the LESSOR AUTHORITY. 

Since there is no HIGHER AUTHORITY than ECHAD and ALL other AUTHORITIES are DELEGATED by ECHAD, we can deduce that G-d is responsible for the welfare of ALL. Yea, it is written, “… HaShem supports all the fallen ones and straightens all the bent. The eyes of all look to You with hope and You give them their food in its proper time. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.” (Psalm 145:14-16) No doubt, the revelation of the PURPOSE of SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY, that is, the HIGHER AUTHORITY, is to look after the WELFARE of the LESSOR, is to aid in deliverance for FEAR, the ASSURANCE of PROVISIONS and the establishment of SUPERNAL TRUST. We are destined to both experience the EMET written by King David declaring that “I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread,” and to be transformed into SUPPLY. Be ever mindful that to be RIGHTEOUS implies to let ECHAD be TRUE in ALL THINGS. An open hand both GIVES and RECEIVES.

MISHPATIM

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing our ATTENTION on the definition of the title of the PORTION, MISHPATIM. The IVRI transliteration MISHPATIM is defined as the word ORDINANCE. An ORDINANCE has to do with what is termed CIVIL LAW. CIVIL LAW is an expression of a HIGHER LAW that governs the COLLECTIVE in the HOLY of HOLIES, that is, PURE SOUL CONSCIOUSNESS. This EMET is based upon the PREDETERMINATION of the SUPERNAL to REVEAL HIS CONCEALED QUALITIES in TIME and SPACE.

The PARASHAT MISHPATIM commences with LAWS that govern SLAVERY. No doubt, from the HIGHER PERSPECTIVE, the idea of a human being owning another human being is expressing a mystery that requires uncovering in order to EXPERIENCE the SUPERNAL WISDOM. The question is Who is the MASTER and who is the SLAVE in this SCENARIO? 
 The MASTER that is being spoken of is the EGO. The SLAVE is the SOUL that is IGNORANT of its TRUE IDENTIFICATION. The EGO is the DESIRE to receive that also blinds the SOUL from the revelation that it is SUPPLY.

The CAUSE of this IGNORANCE of our true IDENTIFICATION is our descension into the LOWER LEVELS of CONSCIOUSNESS. In the LOWER LEVELS of CONSCIOUSNESS, the perception of SELF is one of ISOLATION, yea, the opposite of our SUPERNAL NATURE. As the EGO continues in SELF-DECEPTION, we continue to lose sight of our TRUE IDENTIFICATION held bondage in SLAVERY. The SLAVERY hinders the unfoldment of the UNLIMITED POTENTIAL that is CONCEALED within, thus requiring a LIBERATOR to experience DELIVERANCE from the EGO.
MISHPATIM commences with the revelation that it is the INTENT of ECHAD to effect LIBERATION in those who are undergoing the human conscious experience giving rise to the MANIFESTATION of the UNLIMITED POTENTIAL that is CONCEALED within.

MISHPATIM Part 4

Shalom, Shalom. We continue our focus upon the PARASHAT MISHPATIM by contemplating the instructions given to the NAVI MOSHE in the establishment of the BRIT (covenant) between HASHEM and BENI YISRAEL. The instructions disclosed that the NAVI MOSHE was to approach HASHEM alone, and the people were not to go up with him. No doubt, this was based upon their request, it is written, “They said to Moses, You speak to us and we shall hear; let God not speak to us lest we die.” (Exodus 20:16) It is evident from this request that BENEI YISRAEL lacked the MOTIVATION to pursue TRUTH, yea, the desire to experience the FREEDOM that is the result of the PURSUIT, but there was a lack of an IMPETUS that would cause them to SEEK TRUTH regardless to the PRICE.

The NAVI MALACHI discloses that this event is destined to repeat itself, he wrote, “Behold, I am sending My messenger, and he will clear a path before Me; suddenly the Lord Whom you seek will come to His Sanctuary, and the messenger of the covenant for whom you yearn, behold he comes, says HASHEM, Master of Legions.” (Malachi 3:1) In this prophetic utterance, it is disclosed that just as the NAVI MOSHE came as a messenger of the BRIT, there will be another MESSENGER of the BRIT that will come. It goes on to reveal that the coming of the MESSENGER of the BRIT is yearned for. No doubt, this is based upon the lack of an IMPETUS to pursue TRUTH among BENEI YISRAEL. Once again it is not that there is not a desire for TRUTH, but rather the tremendous sacrifice which is required to experience an EPIPHANY is not there. Could it be that the PURSUIT of that which is known outweighs that which is UNKNOWN? Now is the TIME for NEW REVELATION that will give rise to the experience of MAXIMIZING the HIDDEN UNLIMITED POTENTIAL that is LATENT WITHIN and MAKE a QUANTUM LEAP into LIFE WITHOUT END.

MISHPATIM Part 3

Shalom, Shalom. We continue with focusing upon the PARASHAT MISHPATIM. As previously suggested in this series, MISHPATIM which may be described as civil law is viewed in the HIGHER LEVELS of CONSCIOUSNESS as COSMIC LAW. In other words, these LAWS aid the INDIVIDUAL in making an ascension that engenders the manifestation of the UNLIMITED POTENTIAL that is latent within.

The creation of FREEWILL within the human conscious experience came into being as a result of ADAM and EVE partaking of the TREE of  the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and BAD, yea, their WILL could only be FREE by choosing to DEPART from the WILL of HASHEM. The departure from the WILL of HASHEM not only gave rise to the LIBERATION of their VOLITION, but also to falling below MAKSOM or the barrier. The falling below MAKSOM gave birth to INDIVIDUALITY, i.e. the EGO or a false perception of ONESELF. In other words, they descended into IGNORANCE giving rise to the EXPERIENCE of DESTRUCTION. This was necessary in the UNIVERSE of BECOMING, for it had been predetermined that HASHEM would manifest HIMSELF in form, and one of those manifestations is FREEWILL or VOLITION. As aforementioned, the VOLITION came with the PRICE of DESTRUCTION in order for HASHEM to manifest HIMSELF in FORM, the STATE of DESTRUCTION, i.e., DEATH, has to be overcome and BECOME IMMORTALITY. Thus the goal for those who are undergoing the human conscious experience in a UNIVERSE of BECOMING is to BECOME IMMORTAL.

As aforementioned, MISHPATIM or civil law, that is, COSMIC in nature, is purposed to aid in birthing UNLIMITED POTENTIAL that is latent within. MISHPATIM are laws that when observed by a group of INDIVIDUALS transforms their actions into that of a COLLECTIVE WHOLE. It is ascension into the CORPORATE CONSCIOUSNESS of the COLLECTIVE WHOLE that dissolves the EGO, that is, the false identification with LIMITATION. As the individual makes the ASCENSION back into the COLLECTIVE WHOLE, the perspective is changed and the KNOWLEDGE of HASHEM is experienced giving rise to the TRANSFORMATION of MIND and BODY into the ETERNAL IMMORTAL STATE.

MISHPATIM Part 2

Shalom, Shalom. We continue our focus upon the PARASHAT MISHPATIM by placing our ATTENTION upon the relation of the Creator to Creation. It is evident from the scenario written by the NAVI MOSHE in BERESHIT (Genesis) chapter one, that Creation is the product of HASHEM speaking Himself into EXISTENCE. No doubt the reasoning behind this mechanic is to CREATE a UNIVERSE of BECOMING. In other words, the COSMOS would begin with G-d concealed in FORM and through MOVEMENT, He would become REVEALED. Thus in a UNIVERSE of BECOMING, the INVISIBLE ATTRIBUTES of HASHEM will unfold then infold giving rise to the manifestation of His GLORY, yea, the GLORY of G-d is the manifestation of His INVISIBLE ATTRIBUTES in form.

To provide an atmosphere that would be conducive to the CONCEALED state of G-d becoming REVEALED, He created within HIMSELF SPACE and TIME. SPACE is that which is STILL and CHANGELESS, while on the other hand, TIME is the MOVEMENT in SPACE. HASHEM as the CONSCIOUSNESS of TIME and SPACE, in order to fulfill His Plan, would have to create MOVEMENT that would manifest His glory in the forms that He spoke into EXISTENCE. To do so, He employed MISHPATIM, or ORDINANCES.

MISHPATIM are civil laws that are destined to MOVE the forms both INDIVIDUALLY and COLLECTIVELY in an upward direction that will maximize the POTENTIAL that is HIDDEN WITHIN the forms. Thus the civil laws themselves are COSMIC in nature that are purposed to aid the UNIVERSE in BECOMING. The violation of these LAWS have an ADVERSE EFFECT. This is to suggest they HINDER the PROCESS of BECOMING. For this reason, HASHEM will send NEVIIM to aid with the INTERPRETATION THEREOF that is relevant to the SEASON in the MOVEMENT of TIME. The NEVIIM are sent by HASHEM to aid the Jewish People along with TRUTH SEEKERS in entering into the MOVEMENT in SPACE that will give rise to the experience of CONSTANT IMPROVEMENT when observed in harmony with the REVELATIONS of the MYSTERIES found in MISHPATIM.

MISHPATIM

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing upon the TITLE THEREFORE. The title is MISHPATIM. The IVRI (Hebrew) transliteration MISHPATIM may be interpreted into the ENGLISH TERM ORDINANCES. In particular the PARASHAT MISHPATIM is a revelation of CIVIL LAW that is destined to guide the MOVEMENT of the Jewish PEOPLE.

Torah is the CONSTITUTION GIVEN by HASHEM to guide AM YISRAEL (the nation of ISRAEL) in its UNFOLDMENT of BECOMING a GREAT NATION. Thus the ORDINANCES, COMMANDMENTS and DECREES that are written in TORAH are not just PURPOSED to GOVERN, but also to aid in the MAXIMIZING of the UNLIMITED POTENTIAL that is hidden both on INDIVIDUAL and CORPORATE LEVELS. What makes this CONSTITUTION UNIQUE is that it is not an expression of the separation of CHURCH and STATE, but rather the MARRIAGE of the CONCEPTS.

Without a doubt, TORAH discloses that the COURTROOM and the TABERNACLE are equal in AUTHORITY. This concept aids in understanding the MISHPATIM, CHUKIM and MITZVOT that are therein from the perspective of G-d, yea, they are destined to be viewed from different levels of CONSCIOUSNESS.

Many of the things that are WRITTEN WITHIN seem to be JURASSIC or outdated. In REALITY this is not TRUE, but rather, we are to LOOK at them at the HIGHER LEVELS of  CONSCIOUSNESS. Indeed they are PRINCIPLE in nature, i.e. basic truth in which all other TRUTH is to be based upon. Thus they are to be perceived in harmony with what is RELEVANT at the TIME, for the human conscious experience is UNDERGOING the PROCESS of EVOLUTION in a UNIVERSE of BECOMING.
