Moshe Rebeynu

Neo Hassidic - Letting HASHEM into our lives is what it's all about. We do it through our exuberance in our own ideas and acts in regard to dress, prayer, song, dance, and Torah learning. All this stimulates us to do "The Mitzvot " making this world a better place for ourselves and everyone else, Jewish or not.

VAYEILECH

Shalom Shalom. This week’s DEVAR TORAH is VAYEILECH meaning and went.
•    In Malachi, it says that the hearts of the fathers would return to the sons and the sons to the fathers. It is not talking about biological fathers but spiritual fathers. In II Kings, Elisha calls Eliyahu father when he is taken up in a chariot of fire. Elisha is then able to do the same thing that Eliyahu did - part the water. Spiritual fathers leave a spiritual inheritance. The return of the father is referring to the greater and mightier nation that was promised to Moshe. They will have the faculty/gifting of Moshe. This is the authority that removes the curtain that is hiding OLAM HABA. It is the instructions that are inherited from the father to the children then embodied to receive the faculty. We return to the Book, Torah.
•    Perfection cannot create imperfection. In creation the goal is to have a visible field of unlimited potential. From the field of invisible unlimited potential, a contraction took place that created a hollow in which creation takes place. The farther from the Endless Light the more solid, opposite of the Creator. It looks imperfect, but at the center is perfection. Creation is not finished; we are completing it. Everything seen in contrast has to ascend up and become a visible manifestation. In the constriction is the physical body which is memory. It has both evil inclination and good inclination. There are 4 aspects. 1. The lowest level - it is dormant, in the subconscious, like a baby. 2. Extended - The environment causes the good and bad inclinations to come out. When you react to blows, your environment controls you; happy, sad, anger, etc. 3. Control - When you start to cross over the barrier. When you receive a blow, you control the inclinations; respond and not react. You control the inclinations that are within you. It is based on Stillness. 4. Elimination of Yetzer Hara (evil inclination) and only have good, delight, no evil. You no longer are under blessings and curses. In Extended and Control, you still experience blessing and curses. Use introspection to control what is in you. Dominate what is in you, not what is external to you. Keep controlling until you transform. Perfection is then in the physical body - immortality.
•    HITPASHTUT is the development of Godliness. Adam Rishon is one Soul comprised of many souls. When we fell below the barrier, a shattering took place, like puzzle pieces. Soul mates were broken up. In the story of Noach, it says the sons of God married the daughters of men and they had children. This went against what was before the shattering. It brought contention. The daughters of men had a negative influence on the sons of God. They were not soul mates. Moshe sees that Israel will stray after other gods after they enter the Land. In other words, they would have interfaith marriages. In Ezra it says, “You have been unfaithful and taken alien wives.” The Creator told them to divorce their alien wives. They then move into the correction properly. Spirituality can be destroyed by being connected to someone you are not supposed to be with. Reach the high level of consciousness by being with your soul mate. In G’MAR TIKKUN we come back together into our primeval state.

NITZAVIM/VAYEILECH

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this week’s DEVAR TORAH by noting that the focus is upon two PARASHOT (portions). The PARASHOT are NITZAVIM and VAYEILECH. The opening narrative of NITZAVIM describes the renewal of the covenant with the second generation from the liberation of the HOST SOULS from MITZAYIM (EGYPT). The HOST SOULS, that is, the 600,000 souls that has the predetermined SUPERNAL PURPOSE of aiding humanity in the fulfillment of the GOAL of CREATION, failed in the unfoldment thereof. The failure gave rise to the experience of death and to be reincarnated as a group during the fourth exile termed the End of Days. the renewal of the covenant was in reality the second generation undergoing the CONVERSION EXPERIENCE. Thus establishing the principle that every generation needs to undergo the CONVERSION EXPERIENCE to align oneself in the proper relationship with ECHAD.

Establishing the proper relationship with ECHAD, Blessed be His Name, is an ascension from that which is personal to the impersonal. The impersonal is the realization that the SOUL is an individual aspect of ECHAD. This is the beginning of actualization in which one is empowered to annul the convent with DEATH and the compact with the grave. For this reason, the covenant is to be renewed with every generation, yea, undergoing the conversion is how one begins the journey of annulling the covenant with DEATH and the unfoldment of IMMORTALITY.

The PARASHAT VAYEILECH is a continuation of this principle. The opening scenario discloses that an exchanging of the baton is about to occur in which YAHOSHUAH will be appointed to take MOSHE’S place. Rather than ECHAD speaking directly to YAHOSHUAH in the exchange, HE appoints MOSHE to give the charge. This would be compared in spirituality to MOSHE being like unto the SUN and YAHOSHUA like unto the MOON. As the SUN illuminates the MOON, YAHOSHUAH would continue to receive enlightenment from MOSHE, even after transition. This was to ensure that the process of the unfoldment of the GOAL of CREATION would continue moving from one generation to the next, that in the fourth generation, that is, the END of Days, it will come to manifestation.

VAYEILECH

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing upon the opening narrative contained within the PARASHAT. The SIDRAH presents a scenario of the events giving rise to the unfoldment of the transition of the NAVI Moshe.

The root language of MISHKAHN DAVID discloses that death is an illusion created by the erroneous identification with the physical body. This error in identification began with ADAM and EVE partaking of the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and BAD. The partaking of the fruit of the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and BAD effected a conscious descension into identifying with the physical body, i.e. the vessel of reception. The human conscious experience is the marriage of the finite component  termed the vessel of reception to the infinite component termed the SOUL. The SOUL is the product of ECHAD literally breaking off an individual aspect of HIMSELF and breathing IT into the vessel of reception. This process gave rise to the animation of the vessel of reception engendering the commencement of the THOUGHT of CREATION. The thought of creation is that the CREATOR would create a creature that is opposite of HIMSELF, and pour HIMSELF into the vessel thus becoming like the CREATOR. Since perfection can only CREATE perfection, the likeness is not something that is similar, but rather a VISIBLE MANIFESTATION of the CREATOR’S invisible qualities. From this process, we are able to discern that the TRUE IDENTIFICATION of the human conscious experience is not the vessel of reception, but rather the CREATOR, that is, the SOUL that animates the vessel. The descension that was experienced resulting from eating of the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and BAD was one of erroneous perception. The erroneous perception is an identification with weakness that gives rise to SUFFERING. Failure to correct the perception is what produced the illusion of PHYSICAL DEATH. For this reason, the KOHANIM (priests) were not permitted to grieve. In other words, the position that they occupy requires the ATTAINMENT of the revelation of the TRUE IDENTIFICATION. THE ATTAINMENT of the TRUE IDENTIFICATION discloses the IMMORTALITY of the SOUL, which is an individual aspect of G-d.

From this EMET, we are empowered to perceive that the DEATH of the NAVI Moshe was a transitioning from the form of the vessel of reception into that which is termed the LAVUSH. The LAVUSH is the essence of being with no loss of consciousness. The awareness is the same as that experienced in the vessel of reception. The only difference is in that of desire. Without the vessel of reception, desires for such things as food, sex, shelter do not exist. On the other hand, the power to see, hear, yea, that of the sense remains. Whatever attainment that has been made will remain along with the returning to this realm in order to complete the thought of creation.

VAYEILECH

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing our ATTENTION upon the title of the PARASHAT. The title of the PARASHAT is VAYEILECH. The IVRI transliteration VAYEILECH is interpreted into the English term “WENT.” The portion begins with a presentation of the NAVI Moshe’s revelation to BENEI YISRAEL of the exchange of the BATON of leadership to his SUCCESSOR YEHOSHUA. From the ROOT LANGUAGE, there is a disclosure of the instructions to embody the mechanics to be employed in effecting the CORRECTION.

The CORRECTION is the transformation of corporeal DESIRES into DIVINE INTENT. It is the transformation of corporeal DESIRES into SUPERNAL INTENT that gives rise to ascension into REGENERATION. REGENERATION is the opposite of what is experienced with the majority of those who are undergoing the human conscious experience. What the majority experience is a state of DEGENERATION. The state of DEGENERATION is a process in which one goes from bad to worse with the ultimate end of PHYSICAL DEATH. As aforementioned, the REGENERATIVE state is one that is opposite of IMPROVEMENT.

The instructions that are given have to do with SUBMISSION to Moshe’s SUCCESSOR as well as the destruction of the nations that are before them. From the root language, SUBMISSION to the SUCCESSOR is indicative to SUBMISSION to the TEACHER that G-d reveals. The destruction of the nations is equivalent to the transformation of the CORPOREAL DESIRES to the SUPERNAL INTENTION of ECHAD. The nations represent these CORPOREAL DESIRES. Their transformation is the result of responding to the pressures that are without with the revelation of the TORAH heard from the voice of the TEACHER, that is, heard from within.

In other words, SUBMISSION to the TEACHER gives rise to hearing HIS/HER voice within the EVENTS that we experience. If we employ this VOICE of the TEACHER heard within as that which we THINK, SAY and DO, we shall experience a sense of stillness, peacefulness, quietness and confidence within in the response to the EVENT. This is an indication that we are transforming CORPOREAL DESIRES into SUPERNAL INTENT. It is this mechanic that we are destined to employ in effecting the CORRECTION.

Effecting the CORRECTION is the response we are destined to employ in the MAXIMIZING of our POTENTIAL and the MANIFESTATION of the HIDDEN QUALITIES that are latent within. The MANIFESTATION is the GOAL of CREATION. The GOAL of CREATION is PHYSICAL IMMORTALITY which is effected by embodying the instructions of ECHAD.
