Shalom Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing upon the narrative of the Golden Calf that is contained within the SIDRAH. The narrative of the Golden Calf commences with the following description, it is written, “The people saw that Moses had delayed in descending the mountain and the people gathered around Aaron and said to him, Rise up, make for us gods that will go before us, for this man Moses who brought us up from the land of Egypt we do not know what became of him.” Exodus 32:1. The opening of the narrative is the beginning of a riddle that unfolds within the process of HITPASHTUT. HITPASHTUT is the IVRI (Hebrew) transliteration for the development of G-dliness. D’MUT ADAM, which is the image of man, is destined to become B’TZELEM ELOHIM, which is the image and likeness of G-d. B’TZELEM ELOHIM is the next step of evolution that the human conscious experience is destined to undergo. This evolution is one of the BEGED, that is, the clothing of the NESHAMAH (soul). The BEGED will evolve into a visible manifestation of ECHAD, Blessed Be His Name, which is a transformation from MORTALITY to IMMORTALITY. What occurred with creation of the Golden Calf compromised the unfoldment, leaving the people in the cycle of birth, life and death. YISRAEL is the firstborn SON of G-d, thus destined to evolve first among the sons of Adam.

What brought about the Jewish people remaining in the cycle of birth, life and death in the narrative of the Golden Calf? The answer to this riddle is disclosed in the following statement contained in the SIDRAH, it is written, “He took it (the golden earrings) from their hands and bound it up in a cloth and fashioned it into a molten calf. They said, This is your god, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt.” Exodus 32:4. This statement reveals that they, although liberated from PHARAOH’S influence, remained enslaved to the thoughts of the past. Enslavement to the thoughts of the past is to live past in the present. This is the foundational thinking belonging to the cycle of birth, life and death. This perception of the present is what is termed MOCHIN DEKATNUT, which is a limited perception. To ascend out of the cycle of birth, life and death is to elevate into MOCHIN DEGADLUT, which is an expanded perception whereas the future is the awareness of one’s present.

In the narrative, the death sentence is the recompense of living in remembrance. Thus the judgment of perishing by the sword and plagues was implemented. To ascend into the perception of MOCHIN DEGADLUT required a fresh flow of HASHPAAH (flow of influence) from the Spiritual Leader predetermined by ECHAD. This will engender YAH ELET (elevation and expansion) into the next level of evolution whose impetus is MOCHIN DEGADLUT.

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH with an overview of the scenario found in the SIDRAH. The overview is a narrative describing the unfoldment of AM YISRAEL (the nation of Israel). AM YISRAEL is unlike any nation of OLAM (the world) in that It’s composition is made up of a mixed multitude. The mixed multitude has a commonality. The commonality is a state of ENLIGHTENMENT. To be YISRAEL is to possess the revelation that the SOUL is SUPERNAL, yea, It is a spark described as an individual aspect of G-d. This is the TRUTH of BEING of everyone who undergoes the human conscious experience. The SOULS that realize this EMET (truth) is YISRAEL. We are predetermined by ECHAD to become a model nation for the rest of the nations. The model is described as the everlasting nation, that is, a visible manifestation of the CREATOR demonstrating IMMORTALITY.

The PARASHAT contains instructions written in the BRANCH LANGUAGE that when traced back to the ROOT discloses the systems belonging to the EVERLASTING NATION. It is the establishment of these SYSTEMS that engenders the revelation and manifestation of the NATION.
In this PRESENT WORLD, the systems are EGOTISTICAL in nature. Their establishment is purposed to aid in the בּ (BET) level of development. At the end of the בּ level of development, we are destined to leave horizontal growth and enter into G-MAR TIKKUN. G-MAR TIKKUN is the ascension into the manifestation of the TRUTH of BEING where we shall actualize EQUIVALENCE of FORM. Just as it was necessary to be liberated from the leadership of PHARAOH to begin the unfoldment, likewise nature is applying pressure demanding a changing of the GUARD. The setting up of the new leadership is to aid in the development of SPIRITUALITY out of which the EVERLASTING NATION will be seen.

The history of the Jewish people is linear. In other words, it is a series of events that may be described as MEHUGA (reoccurring). Just as when the leadership began to unfold new instructions that will give rise to a visible manifestation of ECHAD, Blessed be His Name, a rebellion took place, whereas the people wanted to return to serving the gods of MITZRAYIM (EGYPT). Their willingness to cling to familiarity would give rise to destruction. This is due to the EMET that whenever something new is coming on the scene, something old is being done away with. YISRAEL is destined to become that which the world has never seen. No one fathoms a visible manifestation of the DEATHLESS ONE. The naysayers may view it as impossible, but the DREAMERS can see. These are the visionaries that nature is promoting to leadership in the birthing of the IMMORTAL NATION, YISRAEL.

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing upon the following scenario contained in the SIDRAH. The portion opens with ECHAD, Blessed be His Name, speaking to MOSHE REBEYNU concerning the taking of a census of BENEI YISRAEL. The instructions disclosed a procedure that would prevent the counting of them from the recompense of a plague, yea, an admonition had been given that prevented the counting of BENEI YISRAEL. The warning disclosed that counting BENEI YISRAEL would result in a plague. The question is, “Why would counting BENEI YISRAEL result in a plague?” 

BENEI YISRAEL has been given the corporate purpose to be TIKKUN OLAM. The IVRI transliteration TIKKUN OLAM is indicative of being the repairers of the world. This work of reparation is in harmony with the damage that was experienced in the process of CREATION. The force that was used gave rise to the CREATION of LIMITATION. The CREATION of LIMITATION was the CONCEALING of the SUPERNAL. The repairers are destined to complete the assignment by teaching and presenting themselves as ensamples.

The ensample that BENEI YISRAEL is to embody is the TRUTH of BEING. The embodiment reveals that CREATION is but one BEING comprised of many. The ONE BEING is to operate in a CORPORATE CONSCIOUS enabling each individual being to work in behalf of the ONE BEING. This ONE BEING is referred to as ADAM KADMON. This truth is to be taught and demonstrated by BENEI YISRAEL. To count the Jewish People one by one would give rise to EGOISM which is descension from CORPORATE CONSCIOUSNESS to INDIVIDUAL CONSCIOUSNESS. This state of CONSCIOUSNESS, that is, the INDIVIDUAL state, will give rise to the experience of a PLAGUE. In other words, INDIVIDUAL CONSCIOUSNESS is like a cancer in the body. The organ that functions outside of CORPORATE CONSCIOUSNESS can make the WHOLE BODY SICK. This EMET in nature is true of ADAM KADMON, thus we are able to repair by teaching and presenting a Nation that is a manifestation of the TRUTH of BEING.

BENEI YISRAEL must not descend into EGOISM, it will be destructive to ALL. We must not allow any of our ACTIONS to undermine our responsibility to the NATIONS of OLAM.

KI TISA Part 2

Shalom, Shalom. We continue our focus upon the PARASHAT KI TISA by placing our ATTENTION on the following passage contained within the SIDRAH, it is written, “The people saw that Moses had delayed in descending the mountain, and the people gathered around Aaron and said to him, Rise up, make for us gods that will go before us, for this man Moses who brought us up from the land of Egypt - we do not know what became of him.” (Exodus 32:1) In this scenario found in TORAH, we find the following conditions that were challenging BENEI YISRAEL. They had experienced LIBERATION from MITZRAYIM, ENCOUNTERED an EPIPHANY, and now their leader who had led them into these EVENTS had been absent from their presence longer than anticipated. No doubt feelings of fear and anxiety gripped them causing them to act HASTILY. This external pressure was not designed by the UPPER FORCES to create PANIC, but rather the SUPERNAL QUALITY of PATIENCE. By reacting to the MANAGEMENT of the SPIRITUAL WORLD rather than RESPONDING, it gave rise to the EXALTATION of FOLLY.

The PROTEGES of a MASTER TEACHER are destined to remain in SUCCESSION with the INFORMATION that has been given. Failure to remain in SUCCESSION will bring about the EXPERIENCE of DESTRUCTION rather than KNOWLEDGE, EXISTENCE and BLISS. This EMET can be seen in this instance as AARON allowed the pressure that was being placed upon HIM to create a GOLDEN CALF. The GOLDEN CALF represents instructions given by a PROTEGE that are not in concert with that of the MASTER TEACHER. Moshe Rebeynu had revealed that HASHEM is inconceivable. In other words, HASHEM can not be perceived by the 5 senses, yea, the 5 senses act as a BARRIER not permitting one to experience the HOLY of HOLIES. The HOLY of HOLIES is COMPREHENDED rather than CONCEIVED.

The GOLDEN CALF that was fashioned by AARON appealed to the 5 SENSES. This engendered the experience of ERROR. The ERROR would be placing a TRUST in that which is CREATED rather than the CREATOR. This ERROR is SELF-PERPETUATING ultimately leading to DESTRUCTION, yea, about 3000 men lost their lives in the experience of ERROR.
Likewise, it is important to note that the thing that has been is that which is destined to be. The ERROR that is present distorting SPIRITUALITY will be detrimental to those who fail to pledge their LOYALTY. The LOYALTY is to the TEACHER THAT HASHEM has sent who remains in SUCCESSION, that the people will EVOLVE into what G-d has predetermined for them. 

KI TISA

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing our ATTENTION upon the TITLE of the PARASHAT. The title of the PARASHAT is KI TISA. The IVRI transliteration KI TISA carries with it the idea, “WHEN YOU TAKE.” The expression is employed as the commencement of INSTRUCTIONS given by HASHEM on how to take a CENSUS of BENEI YISRAEL.

The human conscious experience may be described from the PERSPECTIVE OF MISHKAHN DAVID as the EVOLUTION of ONE SOUL comprised of many host and individual souls. The GOAL of the EVOLUTION of the ONE SOUL is to MANIFEST the unlimited potential that is concealed within. Therefore each HOST and INDIVIDUAL SOUL making up the ONE SOUL will EVOLVE into a SUPERNAL EXPRESSION of the QUALITIES of G-d.

The descension of the ONE SOUL comprised of MANY gave rise to the experience of EGOISM. The EGOISM is an experience of ISOLATION accompanied by DIVERS KINDS of SUFFERING. To transcend the ERRONEOUS EXPERIENCE of ISOLATION and SUFFERING, one must ascend out of the EGO into our TRUE IDENTIFICATION of a COLLECTIVE. The challenge of taking a CENSUS was one in which the counting of BENEI YISRAEL would not engender the feeling experienced as EGOISM.

It is also important to note that from the PERSPECTIVE of MISHKAHN DAVID, because in reality we are a COLLECTIVE, one cannot truly experience SPIRITUALITY unless one ASCENDS into a SUPERNAL COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS. Thus to believe ONESELF to be SPIRITUAL and yet EGOTISTIC, i.e., ISOLATED from others is to be DECEIVED. Therefore the challenge of taking a CENSUS without  causing the SOUL to take on this DECEPTION made the challenge even greater.
To maintain the ENLIGHTENMENT experienced by BENEI YISRAEL and yet take a CENSUS, the NAVI Moshe was given the following INSTRUCTIONS, it is written, “When you take a census of the Children of Israel according to their number, every man shall give HaShem an ATONEMENT for his soul when counting them. This shall they give everyone who passes through the census a half shekel of the sacred shekel, the shekel is twenty geras, half a shekel as a portion to HaShem. Everyone who passes through the census, from twenty years of age and up, shall give the portion of HaShem. The wealthy shall not increase and the destitute shall not decrease from half of a shekel to give the portion of HaShem, to atone for your soul.” (Exodus 30:12-15) In this passage of TORAH, not only do we receive the REVELATION of how to take a CENSUS of BENEI YISRAEL that avoids the EXPERIENCE of EGOISM, but also of what the PERSPECTIVE of the SPIRITUAL is when viewing the MANY as ONE, yea, we are to ASCEND into thoughts of G-d concerning the VALUE of those who are undergoing the HUMAN CONSCIOUS EXPERIENCE. Regardless to the grade that the many souls occupy, all are of EQUAL VALUE. The color of skin, purpose, financial status, and the LIKE, is non EFFECTIVE. ALL ARE OF THE SAME VALUE. To successfully take a CENSUS and to ASCEND into the HIGHER LEVELS of THOUGHT commences with the EMET (truth) that all who are undergoing the HUMAN CONSCIOUS EXPERIENCE are of EQUAL VALUE.
