KI TISA Part 2

Shalom, Shalom. We continue our focus upon the PARASHAT KI TISA by placing our ATTENTION on the following passage contained within the SIDRAH, it is written, “The people saw that Moses had delayed in descending the mountain, and the people gathered around Aaron and said to him, Rise up, make for us gods that will go before us, for this man Moses who brought us up from the land of Egypt - we do not know what became of him.” (Exodus 32:1) In this scenario found in TORAH, we find the following conditions that were challenging BENEI YISRAEL. They had experienced LIBERATION from MITZRAYIM, ENCOUNTERED an EPIPHANY, and now their leader who had led them into these EVENTS had been absent from their presence longer than anticipated. No doubt feelings of fear and anxiety gripped them causing them to act HASTILY. This external pressure was not designed by the UPPER FORCES to create PANIC, but rather the SUPERNAL QUALITY of PATIENCE. By reacting to the MANAGEMENT of the SPIRITUAL WORLD rather than RESPONDING, it gave rise to the EXALTATION of FOLLY.

The PROTEGES of a MASTER TEACHER are destined to remain in SUCCESSION with the INFORMATION that has been given. Failure to remain in SUCCESSION will bring about the EXPERIENCE of DESTRUCTION rather than KNOWLEDGE, EXISTENCE and BLISS. This EMET can be seen in this instance as AARON allowed the pressure that was being placed upon HIM to create a GOLDEN CALF. The GOLDEN CALF represents instructions given by a PROTEGE that are not in concert with that of the MASTER TEACHER. Moshe Rebeynu had revealed that HASHEM is inconceivable. In other words, HASHEM can not be perceived by the 5 senses, yea, the 5 senses act as a BARRIER not permitting one to experience the HOLY of HOLIES. The HOLY of HOLIES is COMPREHENDED rather than CONCEIVED.

The GOLDEN CALF that was fashioned by AARON appealed to the 5 SENSES. This engendered the experience of ERROR. The ERROR would be placing a TRUST in that which is CREATED rather than the CREATOR. This ERROR is SELF-PERPETUATING ultimately leading to DESTRUCTION, yea, about 3000 men lost their lives in the experience of ERROR.
Likewise, it is important to note that the thing that has been is that which is destined to be. The ERROR that is present distorting SPIRITUALITY will be detrimental to those who fail to pledge their LOYALTY. The LOYALTY is to the TEACHER THAT HASHEM has sent who remains in SUCCESSION, that the people will EVOLVE into what G-d has predetermined for them.
