SHEMINI

Shalom, Shalom. We commence this DEVAR TORAH by focusing our ATTENTION on the title of the portion. The title of the portion is SHEMINI. The IVRI (Hebrew) transliteration SHEMINI is translated into the word EIGHT. The word eight from the perspective of spirituality implies a new beginning. The new beginning that is being initiated in the SIDRAH is that of the PRIESTLY SERVICES. Since the advent of our PATRIARCH AVRAHAM, the Jewish People have been those who embody SUPERNAL NEW BEGINNINGS in the earthen realm.

It is evident that we live in a universe of becoming. Nature Itself is a force where we witness to becoming as EVOLUTION. The human conscious experience, which is comprised of both finite and Infinite components, is a part of this process of becoming. Torah declares, “And God said, “Let us make Man in Our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26) It is obvious that at this point in TIME and SPACE, the SUPERNAL is not yet manifest in the human conscious experience. This is because the MANIFESTATION of the SUPERNAL is the result of an EVOLUTIONARY PROCESS. The human conscious experience commences as a NEW CREATION that is opposite of G-d, that is, the FINITE COMPONENT, and evolves into that which is INFINITE. The process is one in which NEW BEGINNINGS are initiated to reach the predetermined GOAL.

The Jewish people, which may be described as HOST SOULS, have been purposed by ECHAD, Blessed be His NAME, to initiate the NEW BEGINNINGS in reaching the GOAL. It is written, “HaShem said to Abram, … I will bless those who bless you, and him who curses you I will curse, and all the families of the earth shall bless themselves by you.” (Genesis 12:1a,3) In this passage contained within TORAH, it is disclosed that AVRAHAM and HIS SEED (the Jewish people) are predetermined to be that in which the rest of the sons of ADAM are empowered to bless themselves. They are empowered by the Jewish people as we EMBODY NEW BEGINNINGS that MANIFEST the UNLIMITED POTENTIAL that is latent within. Like the COHANIM that are given instructions that give rise to the manifestation of the SHEKINAH (visible GLORY of ECHAD), which was a new beginning, we are in a season of a new beginning where the HOST SOULS will manifest the CONCEALED nature of ECHAD that is latent within and provide an ensample of INSPIRATION to all the families of the earth.
