YOM KIPPUR
“HaShem spoke to Moses, saying, But on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement: there shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall afflict yourselves you shall offer a fire offering to HaShem. You shall not do any work on this very day for it is the day of atonement before HaShem, your God.”
Leviticus 23:26-28
The predetermined sacred dates and times that the Jew is commanded to observe is what is referred to as Shabbot. These SHABBOT are purposed to aid in the attainment of the GOAL OF CREATION. The GOAL OF CREATION is the realization of our CONSCIOUS UNION with G-d. The human conscious experience is the combination of two components. The components are INFINITE and FINITE in nature. The infinite component is concealed within the finite component. As aforementioned the GOAL of CREATION is the manifestation of the INFINITE COMPONENT in that which is FINITE. When the INFINITE COMPONENT is made manifest, that is, actualized in the human conscious experience, the result is PHYSICAL IMMORTALITY. PHYSICAL IMMORTALITY is a constant state of improvement that occurs within the finite component without the possibility of DEATH.
YOM KIPPUR is the IVRI transliteration that is interpreted to mean the DAY OF ATONEMENT. The SUPERNAL PURPOSE of YOM KIPPUR is to aid in the ATTAINMENT of the whole of REALITY. ASCENSION into the CONSCIOUS STATE termed the WHOLE of REALITY is entering into a perception whereas there is a realization and actualization that there is a CONSTANT OUTPOURING of the SUPERNAL into the earthen vessel. The CONSTANT OUTPOURING is experienced as a revelation of the PATH of lIFE and the fulness of joy. YOM KIPPUR is purposed as a TIME in SPACE where we are to freely focus on the ATTAINMENT of this perception of REALITY.
ASERET YEMAY TESHUVAH leading up to YOM KIPPUR along with the observance of FASTING, KOL NIDRE, CONFESSION, and the LIKE, are the mechanics we are to employ in the ATTAINMENT of the WHOLE of REALITY. The ATTAINMENT of the WHOLE of REALITY is entrance into the STATE of REGENERATION. It is the REGENERATION that unfolds as a CONSTANT STATE of IMPROVEMENT. The mechanics that are employed during this season aid in the correction. The correction is the transformation of SECULAR DESIRES into DIVINE INTENT. Since there are 613 SECULAR DESIRES that are to be transformed, the mechanics employed during this SEASON are destined to establish a DEMEANOR that will be carried out throughout the year. Indeed it is this revelation that gives rise to one’s name being written in the BOOK OF LIFE for another year.
